El Marghany Group is a privately-owned and family-run Egyptian corporation, founded in 1964. The group’s portfolio of companies operates in various fields like food processing, metal production and tourism.

In 1985, United Food Industries (UFI) was established; it was engaged and focused on importing grains and sugar to overcome the Egyptian market shortage in these products.

This business has been running for 10 Years through which the family gained a good experience and repetition in the Egyptian market.

In 1995, the group has established its own mill. It becomes one of the market players in 72% flour market in Egypt.

In 2003, United Food Industries is fast moving consumer good which are specializing in producing Pasta. In 2004, it introduce its first brand to the Egyptian market; Bianco Macaroni. To sum up in 2005, another Macaroni brand was ascended which was Romeo.

Finally in 2008, Bella and Baheya Macaroni were raised up.

 In 2010, United Concentrates Industry Company (UCI) was instituted, devoting in production concentrates such as tomato paste C.B, tomato paste H.B, canned tomato paste, chili paste, mango pulp, mango pulp, guava pulp, apricot puree concentrate, yellow peach puree concentrate, strawberry puree concentrate.

Alongside in 2012, MG Trading (MGT) was established; it’s specializing in importing, exporting and distributing products. In 2012, the distribution in Egypt was through 5 branches and 50 cash van truck. By the end of 2014 MGT expanded to 12 branches and 150 cash van track. So the company was able to cover the whole target & reached the ranking top “5” in the benchmark distribution. MGT target objective is to meet the expectations of our customers which aim for “A car for every street”
